Legal Advocacy

We offer legal advocacy services for survivors and their children who choose to remain in their home as well as those who have left their abuser.  Legal Advocacy is available in Banks, Barrow, and Jackson counties.  We are able to assist with filing Temporary Protective Orders, Stalking Orders, and/or are able to accompany survivors to court.

Peace Place offers and empowering weekly support group every Thursday at 6:00 PM in for domestic violence survivors.  This is a confidential group that focuses on a wide range of topics. Support groups are available for residents of all three counties. To learn more about the date, time, and locations for support groups, please contact our Legal & Outreach Advocate Baylee Moon at bmoon@peaceplaceinc.org.
