What can i donate at the peace place inc. thrift store?

The Peace Place Inc. thrift store kindly accepts donations from the community such as clothing, household items, gently used/new furniture, book, etc.

what can i not donate to the peace place Inc. thrift store?

Peace Place appreciates your thought in donating, but there are a few things that we cannot accept such as TVs, mattresses/box springs, car seats, cribs, computer monitors. Keep in mind if you would not use it and it is broken or considered "trash" we would not be able to sell it or have someone else use it.

How should i bring in my donation to the thrift store?

If possible, please have items boxed or bagged in containers that you do not need back to expedite the unloading process. If you have a furniture donation, live in the Jefferson area and cannot bring it to the Thrift Store, please call during normal hours to schedule a pick up.

what if i want to give directly to the shelter?

The thrift store's donations and proceeds all go directly to Peace Place Inc., but if you wish to give directly to Peace Place shelter, contact Sue Anne at 770-307-3633.  

what if i have clothes that are not usable?

We recycle! We are able to recycle clothing, shoes, purses, stuffed animals, scrap metal to raise funds for our programs. Bag items with any stains, holes or marks with "rags".
